Our Story

VetMatch Pro Untitled design 1

Our founder, Dr. Ingrid, decided to be part of the change for the better after seeing teams consistently struggle with staff morale, hospitals challenged financially, and too many incredible veterinary professionals leave the field disheartened. She founded VetMatch to reduce burnout and bring like-minded professionals back together.

Our Mission

We’re on a mission to empower those delivering veterinary medicine by providing and nurturing:

Our Vision

Our vision is to help create the future of veterinary. To do this, our aim is to be the leading career and organizational resource for practice owners, leaders, teams, and the individuals within. We strive for this through an international VetMatch presence together with VetMatchettes in every metropolitan area and other underserved communities in the US and beyond.

Our Values

As a team, we build VetMatch on the change we want to be in the industry. Our foundational values are the respect and growth of the veterinary professional, a culture of servant leadership in teams & clinics, and developing leaders at all levels.

Our Team = Your Team, too

Ingrid has worked as an associate and relief veterinarian, owned her own practice, directed both corporate and non-profit hospitals. She has collaborated extensively with GP’s as well as housecall, specialty and emergency practices. She gets it and appreciates the perspectives of managers, client care and medical providers.

A two-time TEDx Speaker and multi-award winning author, Dr. Pyka now shares her experiences speaking and training veterinary communities around the world. Her passion is creating collaborative environments so that the veterinary industry empowers trust and longevity from within.
